General Care, Washing & Maintenance
The #1 Longevity Tip: Drying your waders out thoroughly after each use is the single most critical step to prolonging their lifespan.
Drying Protocol: Simms recommends drying the inside first (if damp) and then proceeding with the outside. When drying the exterior, you can pull your gravel guards up until the feet are dry and then flip them down to dry the rest of the wader.
Washing Instructions: Launder using a standard front-load washing machine or wash safely by hand. Use cold water and normal laundry detergent that does not contain bleach.
Post-Wash Maintenance: Once you have washed the waders, ensure proper drying routines by starting with the inside first.
Dryer Warning: Never put your waders in a commercial or household clothes dryer. The intense heat will adversely affect the internal seam tape and will completely void your manufacturer warranty.
